1. You didn’t hire a Buyer’s Agent!

When a buyer discusses reasons to move, their financial situation, etc with a real estate agent they haven’t hired, that information could be used against you on the other side of the transaction. The agent you use could be representing the seller on the next home you’re looking to buy

2. You didn’t bring your buyer’s agent that you have hired with you to the OPEN HOUSE you wanted to see!

IMPORTANT! The agent in the open house does not represent YOU. Information that you share can be used against you in any transaction with that agent.

3. You didn’t bring your buyer’s agent that you have hired with you to the SALES MODEL that you wanted to see!

New home sales agents are real estate agents too and they represent the builder, not you. Therefore, if you want all the advantages of having an agent work for you on your side, bring them with you. Going to one without your agent essentially cuts them out of the transaction. Depending on your buyers agent, their brokerage may choose to sue you for the commission owed and not paid by the builder at that point.
